Rob Cruz serves as Evolent’s chief technology officer. Over 20-plus years in health care technology, he has focused on the design, development and leadership of engineering and technology teams supporting health care organizations. 

Prior to joining Evolent, Rob served as the chief technology officer at CPSI, a health care company focused on patient engagement, revenue cycle management, medical coding and electronic health record solutions supporting skilled nursing facilities, critical access hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers and community health systems. 

He has spent a large portion of his career focused on expanding the scale of exchange of health data, including serving for three years as the chair of the Standards and Technology Implementation Group of the CommonWell Health Alliance. Rob holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of West Florida.
